Tackle one room at a time, as it will help you keep focused and organized as you take on the unpacking. 3) De-clutter. Even after the purge of downsizing your home, as you unpack your home you may start to notice that you held onto stuff that you really didn’t need to. Looking into tossing the junk selling the valuables, and donating the items in between can help you keep your home organized in the long run. Keep this process organized as well and have 3 distinct designated areas out of the way. If you do not want to deal with the hassle of selling your possessions, donate them to a charity or donation center. You will end up with a much calmer and easier time by taking a bit of time to organize yourself after your move and getting familiar with your new surroundings.
